Leadertech produces thermal interface material in sheets, also based on graphite. Graphite is used for its extremely good thermal conductivity, but only on surfaces that don’t need to be electrically isolated.
The vertical conductivity is a decent 5W/m-K while the horizontal thermal conductivity is extremely high at 400W/m-K. Therefore, thermally conductive graphite can be used as a heat spreader.
Application is mainly on chips and under COB’s power LEDs.
Leadertech offers the thermally conductive graphite fitted with one-sided or two-sided adhesive layer, to guarantee correct and easy mounting.
The material is available in thicknesses of 0.1mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 1.0mm. It has a working temperature of -40 +400°C.
In order to provide a suitable end product, EEMC punches the graphite base material into customer-specific shapes, in-house.
