Parker Chomerics CHO-SEAL 6750 is a newly developed conductive and soft-elastomer material designed for creating combined seals for EMC shielding and environmental protection.
The base material is a low-hardness, nickel-graphite-filled fluorosilicone elastomer. The high temperature and chemical resistance of CHO-SEAL 6750 make it an excellent choice for environmental sealing and EMC shielding across a broad frequency spectrum. It provides environmental sealing against dust, moisture, and even challenging IP classifications. Additionally, it has high resistance to aggressive liquids and chemicals, such as machining oils, hydraulic fluids, and various fuels.
This product is available in cast, sheet, and die-cut formats. Cast forms include O-rings, D-rings, and custom shapes. Sheet material can be supplied with an electrically conductive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive (PSA) for easier installation.
Features:
- Resistance to aggressive chemicals
- Low compression force
- Cost-effective EMI shielding solution
- Operating temperature range of -65 to 200°C while maintaining properties
Typical applications include housings for military electronics, aerospace modules, connector interface seals, telecommunications equipment, and industrial applications.
