With the TLF material ABS Technics has developed a multi-layer RFID absorber plate for UHF applications, which minimizes or even completely avoids “false positive” recognitions.
A typical application is in RFID recognition tunnels and truck docking stations. Unwanted RFID reflections sometimes arise there, for example through the steel construction of the building or adjacent RFID reading systems.
The TLF plates have standard dimensions of 610x610x60mm and typically absorb -18dB in the 800 MHz to 1 GHz range.
The ABS-TLF material is applied to an electrically conductive bases.
The material can be supplied to customer specifications in other dimensions and optionally provided with a thin galvanized sheet, an electrically conductive foil or a self-adhesive tape.
